it's my brother's bmt graduation day yesterday.[ don't think anyone of ur know wats btm-basic military training, except for those that have brothers tat went for NS].
my dad, mum n i set off at 12pm yesterday and we took the 168 bus to tampinese. after alighting at one of the tampinese bus stop, we took the MRT that headed to Pasis Ris. ate our lunch at the food court there and headed to the bus interchange to catch the shuttle to ferry terminal to Pulua Tekong. ther's qiute a few soldiers there ushering us. we showed them e pass and board the bus. finally reached at the ferry terminal. hehe, [saw girl armies there too. gonna find some day and be a recruit too:)]
showed our NRIC and took the small ferry to tekong! REACHED!
lots of parents and siblings including us waited at the graduation paraded according to our specific alphabets. we sat at the k location cos our surname is KOK ma. waited for quite a long time, and saw lots of aeroplane flew past. finally there's someone speaking. the ceremony is going to start!!! yipee. one by one, the recruits marched out. from far they looked like tortoise. hehe.[cos all were wearing GREEN].
after the guess-of-honour speech and the recruits marched+all kinds of action they are required to do, ITS TIME FOR THE PARENTS TO PUT ON THE CAP ON THIER SON'S HEAD!
i capture the moment that my dad put the cap on my bro's head. hehe. after that we took lots of pic. and it's time for the recruits to do their RoARS! wao! iwas busy videoing them and they suddenly RoARS reallty scared me!
finally the ceremony ended. the recruits were busying taking pics with one another and of cos, their officers! i could see them having lots of fun when doing tricks on their officers when taking photo.
after that all the recruits anfd their family took the ferry back to singapore and shuttle bus back to pasis ris. we ate our dinner and it's was about 7 plus during that time. after which, we took the taxi home.
it was a fun day indeed.
